magic of the day

✨ MAGIC OF THE DAY ✨

I was on the bus the other day going to a breathwork client. Usually, I read a book or listen to music on the front seat top deck looking around.

.

All of a sudden, the bus changed it’s route and went on diversion. I panicked a bit as I could be late for the session.
.
I was juggling in between leaving the bus to walk or to wait until the bus joins its original route.
.
I could feel anxiety and control creeping in. Then a voice went, “Wait and see.” It’s the same voice that tells me the same thing when I get impatient and I ask my intuition what will happen.
.
Then the bus took a different path and I ended up arriving at the stop I needed to go, just on time 🤗
.
.
Every time you try to control, you are killing the flow. You’re closing the door to a beautiful opportunity that might happen in the moment. You’re believing you know better. You have no idea.
.
What if you trusted you’re on this bus that will take you where you need to go? Even if it went into diversion, what if it took you to where you exactly needed to go?
.
So here’s your reminder to surrender and let go and let the magic connect you with your joy, wonder and curiosity ✨
.
I love you 💛

There’s a cafe down the road from where I live. Sometimes I work from there. It’s a cafe / plant shop / hairdresser which I found amazing. Someone thought to mix them up and did it, why not.

.

I always give it as an example in sessions when there is a need for certainty and fear of letting go of the outcome while creating 🙏🏼 If you’re creating something unique coming from you, you have to be willing to be in the unknown and let go of the need to control.
.
💫 Control - known
💫 Magic - unknown
.
I got this plant from there. It literally made its little babies pretty quickly. Aaron showed me how to make them sprout in water until they have roots to be planted. He gave me this beautiful idea of planting them and giving it to friends 🙏🏼
.
So I planted one of the baby ones for my mum so she can take it back to Istanbul with her and grow it with love 😍
.
Enjoy this gorgeous sunshine today, you incredible being ☀️

Love you 💛

✨ MAGIC OF THE DAY ✨

ferrero rocher.jpg

I took this photo 5 months ago. I found it going through my old photos and want to share a story about it.

.

A month after my dad passed away, I went to the embassy to sort out some paper work. From my experience, I believed these things usually take ages. I remember in the morning of this day, I put that aside and I set the intention for the paperwork to flow effortlessly.
.
There were few hiccups, an hour queue etc. I held that vision of it completing and me receiving the paperwork I need in the same day.
.
I went in the room and this box of Ferrero Rocher was there. They’re my favourite chocolate in the whole world 😍 I got a bit excited and said, “Oh I love these!” She offered me some 💩
.
We went onto organising the paperwork. I told her about my dad, how he passed away and when. Then we both realised her dad passed away 2 years ago, very close to the area where my dad was, from the same reason and she was in UK like I was receiving the news on the phone.
.
We looked at each other and smiled. In that split second, we felt each other, we felt our pain and strength.
.
Paperwork was done in total of 3 hours. This is a record time especially when Turks are involved in any paperwork 😂
.
I thanked her and gave her a hug. She showed me there can be magic even in the most mundane tasks you’re not keen on doing. She also showed me there can be closeness and connection in grief.
.
We are not so different from one another. When one person opens up, everyone else opens up and says, “I feel the same.” It takes one person. You can be that person ❤️
.
Have you ever felt a moment of connection in sadness or grief?
.
Love you 💛

✨ MAGIC OF THE DAY ✨

magic of the day trolley.jpg

I went to Sainsbury’s for shopping food the other day. I usually smile at the cashier and ask them how they are and how their day is going.

.

Sometimes we have beautiful chats ending up about either my hair or their children. This time I asked to a new cashier how they were. They smiled and told me not many people talk to them.
.
They said they loved my eyes, I told them I loved theirs too. I can tell she was a very loving, nurturing and motherly woman which showed through her eyes. I told her exactly that. She smiled with joy, even laughed a bit receiving what I said. She confirmed that she is. Then told me about her children, nieces etc while we had a queue started to grow behind us, she didn’t seem to care 😃
.
I told her she has so much love to give and she’s a blessing in her childrens’, nephews’ and nieces’ lives. Before I left, she asked me to spell my name on a piece of receipt. She said she’ll light a candle for me that night 😭 My heart literally melted. That night I lit a candle for her as well 🕯
.
If I created gratitude in someone’s life in 2 minutes to the point they’ll actually go and pray for me, that’s magic for me. It’s love, connection, purity and generosity and those things matter to me.
.
Even a “How’s your day going?” with presence can make such a big difference. A smile with eye contact can make someone feel appreciated, seen and heard. And as a side effect, you feel human and connected as well 😍
.
London can be a busy and overwhelming place where you might not seem to find time for anything. It can also be a magical place if you choose to create it ✨
.
When was the last time you asked a stranger about their day?
.
I’d love to hear if you experience those moments as well 🙏🏼
.
Love you ❤️

✨ MAGIC OF THE DAY ✨

magic of the day - coffee.jpg

I was sitting at this cafe the other day, doing my morning pages that slightly turned into afternoon pages. They’re 3 pages of journaling of whatever comes to your mind, like a brain dump. Julia Cameron created them.

.

Then a lovely woman approached me asking me what I was writing about so intensely 😃 I told her, turns out she does the morning pages too! We started chatting, she asked me what I listen to when I write, I showed her this playlist:

.
Yesterday we met up for a coffee at the same cafe, she’s beautiful and we had a lot to talk about from writing, creativity to self discovery ❤️
.
If you want to go up and talk to a stranger, do it. You never know where it might lead you ☺️
.
Have a beautiful afternoon 💛
