🔥 A WARRIOR’S SPIRIT NEEDS A WARRIOR’S BODY 🔥

You can’t bring forth your full power, if your body is not in full power.

The title is a quote from an incredible movie Alita: The Battle Angel. I’ve seen it twice and it gets me every time. She’s a cyborg that gets found and has no clue who she is. Slowly, she starts to remember that she used to be a warrior.

When I first started giving breathwork journeys, I would get dizzy from the energy in the room. I had to kneel down and touch the ground for a bit, because I wasn’t fully grounded and embodied. I could still hold the space but would need so much more rest afterwards.
.
The more embodied I became, the more I can hold the energy. As my roots grew strong and firm, I could go higher while staying grounded. Rather than needing rest afterwards, now I’m energised. Rest is a choice rather than necessity.

So here’s what helped me to become more embodied:

🔥 SLEEP, EXERCISE, FOOD - If you don’t cover these basics, no amount of energywork will get you there.
🔥 DANCE - Tango really helped me listen with my body and 5rhythms for expressing myself.
🔥 SACRED SEX - Very healing in transforming my body from a girl’s body to a woman’s body.
🔥 BREATHWORK - So much release, healing and integration happened over the last 7 years.
🔥 BATH - Some form of resting that will take your body from fight or flight to rest & digest, bath does it for me.
