Yesterday was my dad’s first birthday since he passed away in September.

I talked to him in the morning and wished him happy birthday. I lit a candle for him and blew it before I went to bed.

I was a bit sceptical in the beginning about the whole “talk to him, he’s always with you” advice I kept getting. Yesterday showed me he really is. I could feel his energy and presence with me few times during the day.
