Most of my childhood was spent in books.

I would read few books in a week and that was my life really, I absolutely loved it.

.

For the last few years, I didn’t create much time to read just for the sake of it. I’ve read non-fiction educational books to learn and grow but not soulful novels, stories and poetry that I love ❤️

.

So I started creating time for it again by reading Paulo Coelho’s books in nature without my phone 🍃
.
I started going into Hampstead Heath near where I live, without my phone or knowing the time (I leave 2-3 hours window as I feel complete in that period) with just coffee and a book.
.
Every time I feel down, disconnected, stressed out, worried, being in nature and reading his words connects me right back to myself. One day, I wish to be able to write books that have so much Soul in them like he has done ❤️
.
I’ve read both his books the Alchemist and Eleven Minutes in the last few weeks. I’d love to share some bits I loved 👇🏼
.

.
From the Alchemist 💫
.
“Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of the search is a second’s encounter with God and with eternity.”
.
From Eleven Minutes 💕
.
“When I had nothing to lose, I had everything. When I stopped being who I am, I found myself.”
.

.
Find what reconnects you with your essence, your Soul, especially for the times you go into dark places as your therapy. Maybe it’s dancing, maybe it’s singing playing your guitar, maybe it’s writing, maybe it’s meditating, maybe it’s painting.
.
Whatever it is, do it for the sake of doing it without any outcome, just for yourself ❤️
.
What connects you with your essence? What’s your therapy? I’d love to hear 💫
.
I love you 💛
