Yesterday we held a beautiful breathwork journey 🔥

I’m learning about creating through receiving a lot more, rather than creating through doing. Yesterday’s journey was exactly all about that from the beginning of having no assistants to receiving unexpectedly, the journey and afterwards 🙌🏼 I forget how supported I actually am. And so are you 😘

.

Thank you everyone who joined us yesterday evening at the breathwork journey 🥰 I learn so much from the wisdom that comes out in the shares after the journeys. I love you all ❤️
.
Thank you Jitka Janakieva and JD Dowler who held space with their love and presence, you guys are amazing 😍
.
The next one is on the 27th September Friday, Centre 151. Come join! Link is below ✨

💛 NEW WORKSHOP ANNOUNCEMENT 💛

Few weeks ago, when Amanda Dutson and I held a shamanic yoga & breathwork journey, it happened to be all women. It was very sacred and beautiful ✨

.

By the end of it, it was obvious to me to start holding women’s only breathwork journeys. .
Sooo here it is ...
.
... women’s breathwork & movement journey 😍
.
.
Bit like Goddess Circle 2.0 😂 Similar in a way but deeper and a bigger group. I won’t hold Goddess Circles anymore. I changed and expanded a lot since starting them. So it feels true to let them go and start this. You can only take others as far as you've gone yourself ❤️
.
The venue is gorgeous loft with big windows 🙌🏼
.
It will be 12 WOMEN ONLY 🔥
.
12 September Thursday
Columba Space, Camden Town
6:30-9:30pm
£30

.
I’ve heard from few women that they feel safer around women when doing breathwork to let go and surrender. If this is you, this workshop is for you 🤗
.
It’s also super healing to see and to be seen as equals amongst women and to go deep into a journey teaching one another ❤️
.
I’m super excited for this! See you there 😍
.
I love you 💛

(Next monthly mixed breathwork journey is this Friday, link is below ✨)

Dancing with the ☀️ and 🌳 today

I started reading Sweat Your Prayers: Movement as Spiritual Practice by Gabrielle Roth, the creator of #5rhythms 🔥

.

I’m 5 pages in and am already crying.
.
.
✨ “I danced till I disappeared inside the dance, till there was nothing left of me but the rhythms of my breath. I entered another universe, shifted into a new dimension in which there were no boundaries; everything was energy and I was just a particle riding the universal wave.”
.
✨ “I feel my soul in my body when I dance, when I make love, and most times in between. I know that to reach the light we first have to travel into the heart of darkness. After all, isn’t light created out of darkness?”
.
✨ “I believe we each hold a spark of original light of creation within us. I’ve seen it light up people’s faces and bodies when they dance. In a thousand ways it has been revealed to me that God is the dance and we need only to disappear into the dance to liberate the sexual, creative and sacred aspects of the soul.”
.
.
I go to the Sweaty Thursdays for 5rhythms, 7pm at St Peter’s Church every Thursday. You just turn up, no need to know how to dance. The dances in the church will continue until the end of October. Come join before then, let’s dance together 🙏🏼

I’m back in London! 😍

ist.jpg

I came back Thursday night. After 2 weeks in 30 degrees, I had bit of a brutal transition to the cold and rain 😃

.

Every time I go to Istanbul, it takes me 2-3 days to adjust to the language, the sense of humour, the physical distance you keep with people when you talk, and the politeness / directness balance and so much more. It’s a whole new download to my system that I upgrade from the last one 😂
.
Same happens every time I come back to London. They are two very different worlds and I’m grateful to be part of both.
.
I had a beautiful moment I’d like to share.
.
I love crossing the Bosphorus by boat which is between European and Asian sides of Istanbul. As I did the other day, I went off the boat and I looked around. It was one of those moments where time literally slowed down. I had no thoughts, just silence within me while I was in a very crowded place. I stopped the song I was listening to and took out my earphones. I heard the seagulls, the call to prayer and the sound of the boat. I saw all the people walking around and standing while smoking. I saw the beauty of the city through a new pair of eyes and I felt love for everything I saw. Even the angry Turkish men shouting around 😃
.
There is something very nourishing about connecting with your roots and remembering where you came from. It’s not a coincidence where you are from originally whether you lived there all your life or never even visited. There’s a gift for you there.
.
This time around visiting Istanbul was very special which was about all the connections I made and time I spent with people I love. Thank you everyone who were part of this 🙌🏼
.
I feel very nourished by the experiences I had and the emotions I felt ✨ And I’m ready for the next chapter 🤗
.
I love you 💛

✨ MAGIC OF THE DAY ✨

Few days ago, I was reading my book on the beach. The woman next to me asked me what I was reading. I told her and we started to chat.

.

Then she recommended me and mum to go to a performance the following day. So we did.
.
We stepped into another realm. There is so much Soul and depth in the music they create. They sit in a circle, create a sacred space as they play and improvise. These videos can’t capture the energy they brought in but kinda give you a feeling. They’re so special ✨
.
Thank you Mardeleva Eduardo Castillo for everything you brought and shared. I’m so grateful I came across what you create ❤️
