💧 CRYING 💧

crying.jpg

Crying can be so healing and healthy 💙

.

Growing up, maybe crying was shamed in your house or amongst your friends. You might have felt that it’s not ok to cry, it’s a sign of weakness. Or you might have judged others for crying in public.
.
I cry a lot. I cry from feeling loss and grief. I cry from feeling grateful. I cry from being premenstrual and on my period as women are more connected to their emotions around this time.
.
Crying doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you. It’s the mind that thinks something’s wrong. You’re a human, you’re meant to feel and cry. It’s your body’s natural release.
.
Sometimes anger can be a way of escaping feeling sad. When you sit with yourself and observe the anger, you might find sadness underneath it. And I promise you, if you feel that sadness fully, you will feel freer and lighter afterwards 🙏🏼
.
It’s also important how we are with others when they cry. If someone’s crying infront of you, it can feel almost automatic to rub their back, give tissues, give them a hug etc. You just have good intentions and don’t want to see your loved ones suffer, right? Even though, it comes from deep love and care, this might actually stop them from processing their emotions.
.
Maybe they don’t want any fixing in that moment. Maybe they just want to cry, to be seen and heard. Trust their ability to go through their emotions and trust your ability to hold that for them with your presence and love. When you feel the energy naturally shift and settle, feel free to offer a hug ❤️
.
I went to Vivek’s satsang few weeks ago. He was saying how emotions are not yours, welcome them with love. They’re just moving through you. I love this. When you see they’re not yours and there’s nothing wrong with you, you can move through those emotions with surrender ✨
.
Here are few steps to allow yourself to feel or to cry properly:
- Give yourself 10-20 minutes uninterrupted time where you give yourself permission to feel or cry.
- Close your eyes, take 5 deep breaths.
- Allow your emotion, whatever it might be sadness, grief, loss etc to be there.
- If you feel tears want to come, let them come. Don’t hold back. If you tend to cry silently or hold your breath with every sob, make a sound “aaa” to help the release.
- Put your hand on your heart, imagine sending compassion to yourself. You got yourself, you’re not alone.
.
Here’s a playlist I put together and used a lot last year around the time my dad passed away. I would literally give myself 30 min time to cry in between work wherever I could. May it supports you in releasing any emotions ❤️
.
https://open.spotify.com/…/1147326591/playlist/4fhMOjOZgVtX…
.
Whatever you’re going through, know that it’s passing with every breath and tear. You’ll come out from the other side thinking “That was hard but I’m grateful, it made me who I am today.”
.
If you need support, just reach out to me 😘
.
How is your relationship with crying? Would love to hear 🙏🏼
.
Love you 💛

⚡️ YOUR BODY’S WISDOM ⚡️

your body's wisdom.jpg

I watched the documentary HEAL on Netflix a week ago. It’s a brilliant documentary about how our minds can heal our bodies.

.

It talks about how we use Western medicine, surgery, painkillers etc for chronic illnesses when really, they are meant for emergency situations.
.
In the documentary, Darren Weissman said this which I absolutely loved 👇🏼
.
“Every illness, disease is a portal to our bodies. You can attempt to run the subconscious mind, just like you run to attempt to outrun a shadow. You can’t. You gotta turn around and face it. You gotta see the problem as the portal.”
.
I was coughing for the whole of last week. It was getting a bit annoying as it wasn’t healing despite all the ginger, honey and lemon teas. Yesterday I started to have a muscle pain as well during coughing.
.
So that was a final sign for me to sit down and ask myself, “What am I avoiding feeling?”. It was feeling of loss and ending of a beautiful connection I had with someone. So last night, I allowed myself to cry it all out. I closed my eyes, imagined them infront of me and spoke to them. I said everything I wanted to say and felt it all.
.
I woke up feeling so much lighter and now the cough is nearly gone. I mean obviously, otherwise it’d be a shit story 😂 I needed to feel it fully to let it go.
.
If something is coming up constantly from your body, you need to look at it. It’s your body’s way of communicating with you. Maybe you haven’t forgiven someone from the past, maybe you haven’t been following what you know deep down is true. Or maybe you’ve been holding onto a story who believed about yourself since you were a little child, to the point it became who you are and you don’t know who you’ll be without that story.
.
And letting go doesn’t have to be hard. You don’t need years of therapy to go into something in order to let it go. You can let it go and be free from it if you choose to in this moment.
.
If you’ve been feeling stuck and struggling to let go of something, come to group breathwork this Thursday 🔥
.
The energy of the group breathwork has a beautiful way of bringing up and releasing things you didn’t even know were there 😍

We have 8 spaces left. Link to book is below ✨

“Thank you so much for a wonderful session. After the session I felt so connected to the source/my higher truth that all these ideas were flowing through me, I felt more empowered and trusting of myself and my path than I had for a while.”

.

.

.
I love doing sessions with women who take things to the next level and who really go for their dream life.
.
If this is you, just message me ❤️

Wishing you a beautiful evening 😍

✨ MAGIC OF THE DAY ✨

magic of the day trolley.jpg

I went to Sainsbury’s for shopping food the other day. I usually smile at the cashier and ask them how they are and how their day is going.

.

Sometimes we have beautiful chats ending up about either my hair or their children. This time I asked to a new cashier how they were. They smiled and told me not many people talk to them.
.
They said they loved my eyes, I told them I loved theirs too. I can tell she was a very loving, nurturing and motherly woman which showed through her eyes. I told her exactly that. She smiled with joy, even laughed a bit receiving what I said. She confirmed that she is. Then told me about her children, nieces etc while we had a queue started to grow behind us, she didn’t seem to care 😃
.
I told her she has so much love to give and she’s a blessing in her childrens’, nephews’ and nieces’ lives. Before I left, she asked me to spell my name on a piece of receipt. She said she’ll light a candle for me that night 😭 My heart literally melted. That night I lit a candle for her as well 🕯
.
If I created gratitude in someone’s life in 2 minutes to the point they’ll actually go and pray for me, that’s magic for me. It’s love, connection, purity and generosity and those things matter to me.
.
Even a “How’s your day going?” with presence can make such a big difference. A smile with eye contact can make someone feel appreciated, seen and heard. And as a side effect, you feel human and connected as well 😍
.
London can be a busy and overwhelming place where you might not seem to find time for anything. It can also be a magical place if you choose to create it ✨
.
When was the last time you asked a stranger about their day?
.
I’d love to hear if you experience those moments as well 🙏🏼
.
Love you ❤️
.

We had another Goddess Circle tonight 😍

goddess cricle tonight.jpg

When I went into architecture years ago, I wanted to create spaces where people feel connected and loved. Now I get to do exactly that, not in a way I thought I’d do, but in a much more true way ❤️

.

I’d love to share what women said about tonight’s workshop:
.
✨ “An incredible journey and opportunity to connect back to the real you again - a real act of compassion to oneself and allowing anything to be felt and experienced.”
.
✨ “Isik offers a beautiful, safe space to explore anything that comes up for you and supports you as you work with or through it :)”
.
✨ “Refreshing, calming, so nice to be able to release to give myself self love.”
.
.
Goddess Circles are basically 3-6 women gathering in a loving and held space being guided through a journey including movement, meditation and breathwork, coming back to softness, surrender and self love ❤️

✨CREATING A SACRED SPACE ✨

creating a sacred space.jpg

Yesterday night we did the first breathwork of the year, yey!! 🔥

.

I love creating sacred spaces where people feel welcomed and loved so they feel safe to let go and surrender.
.
Every time before we start, assistants and I hold hands, close our eyes and we connect to the energy of the group and the experience. We hold that vision for them before they arrive. It’s about setting an intention before you create something and being there with your full presence throughout.
.
I hug people when they arrive (if they want to obviously). This started by me feeling if I’m going to go to a breathwork event and I’m going to be vulnerable and cry my eyes out etc, I’d like to see the person creating the event and have connected with them as a human first before seeing them as a facilitator. Also people are giving their time and presence to be there, I truly honour that. Your time and presence are the best gifts you can give to someone.
.
Aaron meditates on stage giving out unconditional love to the space as some chilled music plays. Then we start by holding our hands, grounding and arriving at the room. We end in a similar way of closing, creating a love shower in the end for the ones who want to receive some more love in the end. And lots of hugs of course 😍
.
Aaron and I always go to Pizza Express afterwards (with 28 mats lol, it’s getting ridiculous now) and last night we were talking about how these events, really came from us having created a sacred space in our relationship when we were together from rituals to processes we held each other through. I’m very grateful we were able to create a sacred space in these breathwork events combined with emotional release and energy work.
.
I’m sharing this because I care very deeply about creating and honouring sacred spaces, how magic an experience can be when you’re present 💛
.
Thank you to the 25 people who showed up and allowed themselves to feel, release and reconnect. You warriors, I love you all 🔥
.
Thank you Aaron, Natalie and Abbey for assisting with your love, energy and presence. I trust and love you so much ❤️
.
The next one’s on the 21st of February. Yesterday’s one was sold out two weeks before so make sure to book your ticket if you’d love to join us 😍 We’d love to have you there ✨

Yesterday was my dad’s first birthday since he passed away in September.

I talked to him in the morning and wished him happy birthday. I lit a candle for him and blew it before I went to bed.

.

I was a bit sceptical in the beginning about the whole “talk to him, he’s always with you” advice I kept getting. Yesterday showed me he really is. I could feel his energy and presence with me few times during the day.
.
This video is how I remember him, doing silly faces and voices to make me laugh ❤️
.
I love you dad 💚
.

These are what breathwork trainings are for: HUMAN CARPET! 😂

.

Sometimes we get so caught up on clearing our traumas, healing etc and we forget to have fun. Laughter can be so healing on its own.

.

A week with those beautiful humans and it already feels like a family. There was so much transformation, tears, release, laughter and bliss in that room.
.
Thank you Julieann Horrox and Vincent Oloo for being fantastic facilitators working together with harmony and love. Thank you for all the assistants for your love, generosity and compassion ❤️
.
Wishing you have people around you can be silly with like this 😍
.
Love you 💛
.

I’M BACK!

im back.jpg

I’ve been away for a week at a breathwork training. What an intense, transformational, beautiful, fun and a loving experience it was ❤️

.

I love giving love and serving, it’s natural to me. A week of being on the other side of it, being held and loved through everything I was going through, was so beautiful and so sacred. I’m so grateful for all the facilitators and assistants in the room.
.
I thought I was pretty good at connecting with and seeing people’s hearts but now it’s a whole another level where I can feel them beyond their words, stories and personalities. There is so much beauty in everyone, so much to offer.
.
I can feel a deeper stillness and presence growing inside me, like hearing the silence between thoughts, words and sounds. It’s similar to waiting in the unknown for the next obvious thing to arise rather than pushing forward. I’ve always been quite firey and airy, go go go. This feels very calm, grounded, patient and earthy.
.
One night we watched a documentary called The Power of the Heart (absolutely watch it!). They were saying how heart has to be broken down like a muscle in order to grow its capacity to love. It really hit me as last year was my heart constantly being broken and now I feel I can love more than ever, myself and others. It’s so easy to close your heart, but that’s not fully living. I’m so grateful I chose not to close down but to love even more.
.
After coming back, I took few days to let the experience integrate, give few sessions and spend lots of time in nature with trees. I’m growing this new sense of appreciation for trees 🌳
.
There are so many lessons, shifts and realisations I had that I will be sharing with you all, over the next few weeks.
.
I feel more in my body than ever. I feel more supported than ever. I trust more than ever.
.
And I feel grateful for this life ✨
.
I’m giving three workshops this week, one of which is Goddess Circle tonight 😍 See you there if you’re coming ❤️
.
Love you 💛
